Diagnose Your ED; Overcome with Cialis
What exactly is erectile dysfunction (ED)?
ED is defined as the repeated inability to create and keep a satisfyingly stiff erection for the duration of intercourse or other sexual activity.
The male sex organ becomes erect when blood is allowed to flow in, filling in the natural spaces in the penis, making it stiff. Muscles at the base of the penis allow blood to circulate in when it gets signals from the brain telling it that you are aroused. Once the blood goes in, muscles in the penis tense, trapping the blood in until you orgasm. At that point, the muscles in the penis relax, the extra blood leaves, and your penis goes back to normal.
Erectile dysfunction can occur when any one of these steps fails. It could be the nerves, the muscles in the penis, or, most commonly, the muscles at the base of the penis.
The vast majority of cases of male impotence occur because something is preventing the muscles at the base of the shaft from relaxing enough to allow for normal circulation.
Cialis fixes that problem by relaxing the muscles.
The 4 Types of ED
There are 4 main types of erectile dysfunction, all of them common and none mutually exclusive:
- Soft erections
- Weak erections
- Total impotence
- Medication-induced ED
Often a fifth category—psychological erectile dysfunction—is listed. This is more to do with the cause of the erectile dysfunction, rather than the state of the erection itself.
Soft Erections
Having a soft erection means that the erection is not as hard on the surface of the penis as it should be.
Weak Erections
This means that the penis is not stiff enough to easily enter your partner, often resulting in frustratingly futile efforts. This can lead to anxiety.
Total Impotence
This is the term for when the penis does not become stiff at all, but stays flaccid even when you are aroused or stimulated. There is no blood flowing into the penis.
Medication-induced ED
Many medications have impotence as a side effect. These are often critical medications that one cannot quit.
Psychological Erectile Dysfunction
Sometimes there is a mental block of some sort that prevents the brain from sending out the proper signals and hormones. The main culprits are:
- Stress
- Depression
- Low self-esteem
- Guilt
- Anxiety
Beat It with Cialis
All of these types of erectile dysfunction can be overcome with Cialis. Cialis physically and selectively allows only the muscles necessary for erection to relax. Unlike other ED medications, Cialis is extremely selective in its effect, meaning there is no "collateral damage", so to speak.
